  • Responsible for daily and event scheduling of staff and Work Studies
  • Provide weekly status reports on all ongoing installation projects
  • Working closely with IMT Manager, work with outside vendors for equipment purchases, support and/or projects; on-site coordination between the client and/or LAFS representative and the staff and/or outside vendor
    • Solicit feedback from the client to identify areas of improvement for installations and events
    • Make or delegate purchases when needed to maintain adequate inventory of supplies and expendables
    • Maintain and prioritize list of equipment needed; research cost and availability with vendors
    • Maintain a list of needed improvements to existing installations; prioritize improvement projects
    • Document all new system installations and update/create for existing installations.
    • Responsible for the maintenance, repair and replacement of all classroom technology
    • Track equipment purchases from inception, reception, to vendor settlement

Work closely with other IT departments when overseeing the installation of video conferencing systems, new AV classroom or meeting room systems, and/or installing devices that require network access such as but not limited to AV Components, Smart TVs, CISCO devices, live streaming and/or lecture capture.



  • Associates degree in a technology field, or equivalent combination of training and experience
  • Minimum 3 years of supervisory experience in highly intensive job organizing and leading projects, preferably in an educational environment
  • Expert knowledge of audio-visual equipment, video projection, lighting, TV, live streaming and audio
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills to work effectively with staff, faculty, students and vendors
  • Ability to prioritize, take direction and delegate in a fast-paced environment
  • Must be cognizant of fire safety regulations
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (PowerPoint, Excel, Word, etc.) and Keynote preferred
  • Must have a sound understanding of safe production practices
  • Commitment to provide excellent customer service
  • A basic knowledge of low voltage electronics

A basic understanding/knowledge of computers and operating systems.
